Just a reminder, we’re still looking for volunteers in a number of different areas.
Volunteer applications can be downloaded online from our website. You can also take a look at the list of jobs and descriptions of duties to figure out what would be the best fit for you.
Deadline for applications is June 27, 2012, so hop to it! That means YOU!

Hey everyone,
Just a very belated HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out for Girls Rock The Alley this past Friday! Thank you for biking, thank you for volunteering, thank you for allowing us to do crazy tasks at your awesome local businesses! We raised money and had a great time. If you need proof, check out the photos HERE.
Also, again: volunteer and camper applications are on our website. DO IT!
We’ve got more fundraising coolness in store for the summer (film screening, gear drive, etc.), so check back here, or follow us on facebook!

Now Accepting Applications!
We’re now accepting applications for a variety of positions! Print out the PDF of the application from our website and apply today! This is an opportunity you will not want to miss.
We’re looking for people with musical and non-musical experience for a variety of roles: instrument instructors, band coaches, roadies, counselors, workshop leaders, receptionists, kitchen staff, lunch time performers, photographers, etc.

BAKESALE RECAP, NEW WEBSITE, ALLEYCAT!
Hey all,
Just wanted to quickly thank everyone who came out and bought some of the incredibly delicious baked goods this past Saturday at our bakesale! And a huge thank you to Russ and everyone else at NeedleDrop for hosting the event! It was a definite success, and we had a great time.
Also, some big cool news: our new website is up and running! Check it out here. It will be updated shortly with camper and volunteer applications, as well as info on our upcoming events. Which leads me to….
GIRLS ROCK THE ALLEY! This is our all-ages Alley Cat Race, which is coming up soon. May 11th to be exact. Check the flyer(s) above for info. Should be a BLAST! Hope to see you there!

Upcoming Events!
Hey everyone!
We’ve got a couple awesome events coming up soon! You DO NOT want to miss these fundraisers.
FIRST: Our bakesale is THIS SATURDAY, April 21st (aka Record Store Day!) at the lovely NeedleDrop Records. You will not believe all the delicious treats we’ll have. You will pass out with delight, probably. Come on out, have a tasty snack, hear some rockin’ tunes, bask in a sea of wonderful records and tapes, and support a great cause. We’ll also have volunteer information and applications if you’d like to get involved. The bakesale starts at 10 am and goes all day (or until we run out!).
SECOND: We’ll be putting on an Alley Cat Race on May 11th. Location TBD. This is essentially a no-holds-barred scavenger hunt on bikes. Go ahead and try to think of something more FUN! More info on this will be available shortly, but here’s the Girls Rock The Alley event page in the meantime. It’s going to be a blast.
More cool events are on the agenda, so stay tuned.
